Flexible work times where you can split work from your home and from our office. For the right person, it is possible to work from home full time but you would need to be a self starter & self motivated. Either way, you will find we are flexible in work times just as long as you are getting it done quickly and efficiently.
Being adaptable and efficient is very important for this position. Organizational skills are essential for success in this position along with the ability to follow-up efficiently and keep track of your progress in a logical and organized manner. Attention to detail should be a natural skill of yours and handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment should be something you thrive on.
We are looking for a genuine team player who is excellent in communicating professionally with clients and is a steel-trap with following-through on tasks and assignments. You should be able to learn new skills and information needed to adapt to the ever-changing mortgage industry and have a self-motivated ability to "figure things out" along the way.
Responsibilities include -
Ordering title, 4506 T, SS#, verifs, appraisal.
Reviews for any red flags.
Provide LO/Assistant a list of any items you need before UW submission
Has file ready to submit to UW by the time appraisal is in.
Processes file (coordinates with LO) from submission to CTC
Obtain and clear conditions after UW approval
To apply you must:
1 - Have a minimum two years of mortgage experience (processor, underwriter, etc). This is not a training position for someone just breaking into the business.
2 - Must absolutely know how analyze credit, review income & asset documents, have a good knowledge of Fannie Mae, FHA, VA, USDA guidelines, and know how to process & submit files to underwriting.
